Leadership Training Program (LTP)
JLSJ empowers Members to become impactful leaders within the Junior League of San Jose and beyond. The Junior League of San Jose’s Leadership Training Program (LTP) equips emerging leaders with the tools and knowledge to excel in all facets of organizational life. Our comprehensive program delves into core topics essential for effective leadership, including Volunteer and Personal Development, Governance and Organizational Management, Marketing and Communications, and impactful Community engagement. Through interactive workshops, discussions, and guest speaker sessions, members gain a well-rounded understanding of the Junior League’s mission and operations. You’ll explore best practices in Fund Development, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) initiatives, and develop strong leadership skills to make a lasting difference in your community. This program is designed to cultivate the next generation of leaders who are prepared to guide the Junior League of San Jose’s Mission forward.
LTP trainings will be structured with a clear curriculum, set learning objectives, and a designated instructor at our monthly General Membership Meetings (GMMs). In addition to our GMMs, we offer a variety of educational events, panels, and Member activities throughout the year. These sessions provide valuable opportunities to gain new skills and knowledge, but also serve as a platform to connect and network with industry peers. Whether you’re looking to learn from experts, share your own experiences, or simply build relationships within the field, these gatherings offer a well-rounded approach to professional development.
